The School of Music seeks an Opera Costumer with demonstrable skills in stitching, draping, and pattern drafting. Skills must include leadership, ability to listen and clearly explain/teach specific processes. Multi-tasking and time management skills are essential to complete tasks and projects according to a fast-paced schedule. Knowledge of costume machinery, garment construction materials, finishing methods, and garment care. The Costumer will serve as an on-site resource working out of the School of Drama’s Costume Studio facility. OUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: - Actual responsibilities will vary depending on job function. Functional areas could include audio, piano, print shop, etc. - Other duties as assigned.…
