About this role

The Humanities and Social Sciences group at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar is seeking applications for a 1-year Teaching Assistant position. The candidate will support students in courses in the Humanities and Social Sciences, particularly English courses or courses where students do substantial writing outside of class, such as history and philosophy courses. The candidate will also work closely with the Area Head to support initiatives in the Humanities and Social Sciences. The successful candidate should have a bachelor or a master’s degree in English, rhetoric, TESOL, applied linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field.
