About this role

As a Shipping Officer in CERN's Shipping Unit, you will organise and coordinate the import and export transportation of goods worldwide by road, air, sea, and rail. You will manage a wide range of shipments, including chemicals, radioactive materials, dual-use items, and other regulated goods, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant transport operations. You will coordinate transport requests, prepare documentation and quotations, advise CERN users, and ensure compliance with international regulations, contributing to the smooth and reliable movement of goods across CERN's global supply chain.
