About this role

The Senior Community Outreach Ambassador – Mental Health Promoter works to ensure the integration of services across target service areas within Supervisory Districts 1 & 2 (SPA 4 & 6) to strengthen communities, build trauma-resiliency and link community members to relevant services. This position leads outreach and advocacy for healthy and racially equitable communities by empowering others to raise awareness and mobilize change. Collaborates with internal and external systems within the Department Mental Health (DMH), other county departments, community partners, and thought leaders. Lead non-traditional workshops to enhance emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing of target populations.…
