About This Position Job Description: Coordinator III, Engineering Construction Purpose: Under limited supervision, this position monitors and inspects highly complex, large-scale construction projects to ensure capital improvement projects are constructed in compliance with approved engineering plans, contract specifications, and City design and construction standards. Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned. Conducts site visits to monitor and inspect work performed by contractors to ensure quality and compliance with contract documents, plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
