Carnegie Mellon University seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Pittsburgh, PA) to design, develop, test and maintain applications or systems programs and technical documentation. Support business user questions/issues regarding applications and/or systems issues and availability. Gather and provide input on functional specifications and requirements. Support, participate in, and lead technical projects. Guide or train lower-level staff. Participate in departmental and cross functional project teams. Works with users and customers to evaluate requests to determine feasibility, cost, and time requirements and system compatibility. Update specifications based on user and system requirements.
