Job Description Position Summary Spur's health education and lifelong food solutions (SHELFS) program at CSU Spur involves multiple aspects of public health advocacy and community engagement with the goals of reducing chronic disease burden, namely type 2 diabetes and related cardio-metabolic diseases. SHELFS will launch a community randomized controlled cross over study involving a variety of public health focused activities. This community assistant position will work alongside Dr. Ryan and CSU students to recruit households/families from the GES neighborhoods, and be engaged in the program on a weekly basis.
