About this role
Location: Medical Center-Prosper Department: Surgery-IP/OP Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) will provide skilled technical care to the pediatric patient in the operating room according to their identified needs. This care includes, but is not limited to, performing in the role of Scrub Nurse or First Assistant to the Surgeon and is under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. These functions are guided by the documented nursing care plan. The responsibilities are primarily directed to technical skills including the use of surgical instruments and equipment.
