Compensation Range -- Job Description Summary This is an unpaid, volunteer position with the Weld County Sheriff's office. Working as a victim advocate volunteer offers the opportunity to touch the lives of others by providing a valuable source of support and information to those who have had their lives altered by traumatic events. The purpose of the Weld County Victim Advocate Volunteer position is to provide a wide variety of support services for the victims of crimes; and to serve as an information resource and make referrals to public or private social service agencies, where appropriate, for the victims of crimes.
