Job Summary: Job Description Summary The Prescription Refill Specialist is clinically responsible for processing prescription refills and prior authorizations “centrally” across the Covenant Health Ambulatory Practices. Additionally, the job role involves the careful review of patient charts by following established standards, protocols, workflows, thus improving efficiency by reducing the workload on our Providers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry. Processes prescription refills and prior authorizations for all Ambulatory Practices via the centralized systems and EMR work queues.
