Job Summary: Responsibilities include: Operates all radiographic equipment to perform x-rays, including surgical and portable equipment. Consistently obtain high-quality imaging for radiologist interpretation. General understanding of PACS (Picture Archive Communications System) and its function. Minimizes radiation to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques-ALARA, shielding and knowledge of exposure factors. Documents patient care services in hospital records.
