Job Summary: CALL REQUIREMENT- 1 weekend every month Saturday 3pm-Monday 7am and 1 weeknight a month 10pm-7am A sonographer will use ultrasound medical equipment to capture images of certain areas of the patient’s body. They explain procedures to patients, prepare patients for the tests, use the equipment to gather images from the intended area of the body, and capture images and/or video to provide radiologist with the information needed to produce a diagnostic report for ordering provider. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry. Performs quality ultrasound exams on patients in assigned departments.
