Job Summary: Summary The Environmental Services Technician is an essential care team member who provides indirect patient/resident care and maintains a pleasant, clean, safe, and functional environment for patients, visitors, and employees. The EVS Tech works in the laundry area, housekeeping, and floor care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry. GENERAL CLEANING DUTIES: Routinely cleans, dusts, polishes, vacuums, sweeps, and mops patient rooms and other designated areas. Empties, cleans, and relines wastebaskets and pad containers. Empties hamper and remove soiled linen. Cleans and disinfects patient equipment and furniture, including wheelchairs. Strips, cleans, and prepares stretchers and beds for new patients.…
