Job Summary: The Sterile Processing technician performs all decontamination duties, duties associated with the preparation and packing of items to be sterilized or cleaned for reuse accurately and timely, operates all departmental equipment, and completes other tasks as assigned, utilizing proper personal protective equipment, in a manner which reflects the Mission & Core Values of St. Joseph Hospital, and Standards of Excellence (Policy HR-48) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supports and promotes the mission and values of Covenant Health Ministry. Completes decontamination duties in a timely and efficient manner observing all personal safety guidelines. Receives, sorts, and processes all reusable supplies, instruments and equipment.…
