Summary: The Mental Health Professional (MHP) is a member of the multidisciplinary team. The MHP is responsible for providing mental health treatment services and assisting those they serve (and often their families) achieve an optimal level of functioning through the provision of therapeutic services. The MHP works with employees in implementing individual and group programming. This can occur either in the home or community settings.
