Job Description Position Summary: The Department of Soil and Crop Sciences is seeking an instructor to teach ESS/SOCR 405: Global Agriculture and Environmental Change Spring semester 2027 as well as the online classes. This class will explore the past, present, and future of global agroecosystems in a changing environment. We will examine a range of environmental issues facing agroecosystems around the world, including water management, climate change, air pollution, and land use change. We will also assess the history of agricultural development and the factors that determine food security, as well as what strategies could help create a more sustainable and food secure world.
