Job Description Position Summary: This position will serve as a Colorado Agricultural Experiment Station (CAES) postdoctoral fellow conducting independent and collaborative research on rangeland livestock grazing behavior and management using precision on-animal (i.e., wearable) technology. This position will work directly with Dr. Raynor at the Colorado State University Semi-Arid Grasslands Research Center and Dr. David Augustine in the USDA Agricultural Research Service Rangeland Research & Systems Research Unit at the Central Plains Experimental Range (CPER). They will lead efforts to evaluate and improve the fusion of GPS collar, accelerometer, and remote sensing data to advance rangeland management practices involving precision livestock technologies used by ranchers.…
