About this role

The Strategic Communications Specialist serves as a key communicator, educator, and integrator for the Air Force Information Network (AFIN). This role strengthens the cybersecurity posture of the Air Force by developing, coordinating, and disseminating clear, timely, and actionable information to all AFIN users. The specialist ensures that Airmen, leaders, and mission partners understand evolving cyberspace processes, enterprise changes, and their critical role in defending the AFIN.  This position directly supports the 688 CW vision of building a connected, cyber‑aware Air Force and empowering every user as an active defender of the cyberspace domain.
