INTERN, GIS (La Crosse, WI) Hourly Wage: $18.00 Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Learn about Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and assist with GIS projects. The Impact You Will Make in This Role: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS : Work in a team environment to learn about GIS while conducting basic spatial analysis, queries, and data visualization to support departmental projects. Assist with the creation, updating, editing, and maintenance of geospatial datasets using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and related tools. Perform data entry, digitizing, and compilation of spatial features from various sources (e.g., easement documents, as-builts, field notes, online sources). Perform QA/QC on GIS data and assist in resolving data discrepancies.…
