About this role

The DFCI chaplain Intern program is a clinical practicum. Interns will not undertake duties and responsibilities unless they have received training and experience a degree of competence. Interns are not evaluated by the number of patients seen, but by the quality of each visit. There is ample time for reflection and creative thinking during the program. Each Intern is encouraged to create or participate in a DFCI spiritual care program outside of direct patient care. Self-care and safety are paramount throughout the program. Located in Boston and the surrounding communities, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a leader in life changing breakthroughs in cancer research and patient care.
