BIM / VDC Engineer – Dallas, TX Summary The BIM / VDC Engineer owns the digital model for the installation of automated production equipment into a partner manufacturing site. This role builds and manages the federated model that ties equipment layouts, utilities, structure, and MEP together; runs clash detection and spatial coordination before anything is issued for installation; uses reality capture to keep the model true to the site; and hands over an accurate as-built to operations. The ideal candidate has coordinated large, fast-moving industrial or high-tech facility projects across many disciplines and can make a model useful to engineers, installers, and project controls alike.…
