GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Assists clinical personnel in moving patients to and from beds, stretchers, and tables while utilizing safe transfer techniques. Delivers specimens, equipment, schedules, etc. to all parts of the hospital. Maintains transportation equipment in clean and safe condition. May be required to run errands outside the facility on occasion. Provide routine manual services to assure clean, orderly and sanitary conditions in the hospital. To follow all directives and regulatory guidelines in the responsible areas. To be willing to be cross trained in different areas.…
