About this role

Roles and Responsibilities: a) Under the oversight and direction of PW Section Head, Head Construction Inspectors, Resident Engineers, or Consultant Construction Managers, Construction Inspector II's may be assigned individual projects or serve as an extension of PW staff on Public Works or permitted projects. Construction Inspector Il’s may also be assigned to one of five PW Permit Offices. b) Perform construction inspection, oversight and enforcement of contract/permit documents for construction of various road, bridge, sewer, water, utility service, traffic signal, flood control, and airport improvement projects being constructed by contractors under a contract or a permit issued by the Department.…
