About this role
This role will be part of the Intermodal Business Development & Sales team with a focus on pricing/quoting intermodal shipments for current and new customers on a door to door, ramp to ramp basis. The Intermodal Pricing Specialist will interface with vendors and internal customer teams, while working to develop a broader intermodal strategy. Success in this role will be the ability to evaluate multiple options to move each freight lane and consistently work with the team in making the low cost, high service choices. Day to Day Responsibilities: Quote & price intermodal freight. Source new intermodal carriers. Work with internal sales teams to convert over the road freight into intermodal freight Provide continuing education to the client sales teams regarding intermodal pricing.…
