Overview & Responsibilities PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Perform disassembly, inspection, repairs, assembly of turbomachinery, including turbines, compressors, pumps, gear boxes, etc. BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years' experience in turbomachinery repairs. Must have a strong mechanical background. Completion of a trade school or apprenticeship would be beneficial Manual machining experience is a plus. Comparable experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. JOB REQUIREMENTS / RESPONSIBILITIES: Read and understand blueprints. Perform dynamic balance of rotating equipment. Perform a re-blade of a turbine rotor disk, including peening of blade tenons to Elliott specifications.…
