GENERAL SUMMARY The storekeeper position provides support to plant operations, maintenance, and crafts. Basic activities include receiving and inspection, shipping, distribution, delivery, pick-up, and loading/unloading supplies from and to common carriers, vendors, and contractors. Storekeepers use the Asset Suite system to receive store, locate, and issue all inventory material in accordance with ANSI standards, SCSIs, and ASME requirements. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Receive, store, disburse, package, crate, and ship spare parts, store stock, tools, materials, and equipment. Perform and/or assist in the inspection and testing of Quality Class materials. Maintain quarantined areas for definition and separation of unacceptable items.…
