Job Description Job Description We are currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach COMD 210 – Speech at our Fort Lauderdale campus. Course Description Foundational theories and practices of communication, including public speaking, content, delivery, and design. Section emphasis may vary by instructor. Qualifications Doctor’s or Master’s degree in teaching discipline, or a Masters’s degree with a concentration in teaching discipline (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline). Degrees Within the Teaching Discipline: Speech, Communication, Communication Studies. Related Discipline: Rhetoric, English, Education (cognate in Speech or Communication Studies), Applied Linguistics, Applied Communication Arts.
