Job Description: Directs, leads, and manages the technical activities of one or more engineering functions. This may include, Hardware development function for electronic design, mechanical design and/or hardware reliability. Software development function for software systems, applications and/or software quality assurance. Integrated hardware/software systems design function. Other functional areas may include, electronics, electrical, industrial, process, quality and environmental. Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review. Directs subordinates on predetermined work assignments which are completed using established guidelines, procedures and policies.…
