About this role

West Island School (WIS) is seeking a skilled Workshop Technical Instructor to join our dynamic Design and Technology / Engineering department. Working alongside our lead Workshop Instructor and teaching staff, this is a dedicated non-teaching, technical support role focused on practical workshop operations, machine maintenance, material preparation, and assisting students with safe tool operation during practical lessons. You will have experience of, or willingness to learn, a range of traditional and modern workshop equipment, including CAM.
