Building Location: Building B - St Marys Medical Center Department: 2003930 SMMC 12-MED SURG NEURO TRAUMA - SMMC HOSP Job Description: In Neuroscience you will care for a wide variety of patients with care needs in relation to neuro trauma and neurologic issues. Essentia Health is a Level 1 Trauma center and Thrombectomy Certified Stroke Center. You will work in a valued/strong based team in a fast paced environment. In neuroscience you will receive extensive stroke education and also learn to care for patients with spine and brain injuries. You will frequently use the NIHSS stroke scale for assessment of patients and help patients with swallowing issues and dysphasia screening.…
