About this role
BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB Under general supervision and according to established procedures, assigns diagnostic codes to medical record information. Codes the professional component on inpatient and observation accounts using the ICD 10 CM and HCPCS System. Responsible for assuring the professional component of inpatient and observation accounts are coded and abstracted in a timely and accurate manner.
