BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB Performs tests in various departments of the laboratory. REPORTS TO Director—Laboratory JOB REQUIREMENTS Supervisory Responsibilities: NO Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree Required Degree: Degree from an accredited college offering an NCCLS approved Medical Laboratory Science program or completion of a clinical lab training program License/Certification Required: Certification as an MLS by ASCP, AMT or AAB Minimum Work Experience: 4 years of medical technology experience preferred, OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
