Job Description EVENING LAUNDRY ROUTINE – EXTENDICARE SCARBOROUGH POSITION: Evening Laundry – Monday to Sunday TIME: 1:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. BREAK TIME: 4:00 P.M. – 4:30 P.M. REPORTING TO: Services Manager or Delegate RESPONSIBILITY: Evening Laundry Services: To prepare personal clothing for residents. Washing personal clothing will be done every day. Personal clothing carts will be alternated for redistribution between inner wear (socks, underwear, etc....) and outer wear (regular clothing such as pants, shirts, etc....). Nursing will alternate days when they distribute inner or outer wear. Washing and drying linen for the day shift. Cleaning of the laundry room. Labeling of new personal clothing. Time Management : Manage duties according to day-to-day operations. 1:00p.m. – 4:30 p.m.…
