About this role
Job Description Post-secondary certificate in Therapeutic Recreation Assistant desirable. Participates in the planning, organizing, implementing and evaluation of recreational programs based on the needs, interests and abilities of those Residents following assessments. Maintains appropriate records of planned programs and attendance as they relate to individual residents. Other related records include: cleaning checklists and communication documents. Actively encourages residents to attend programs by assisting them to events and coordinate with volunteers as needed. Assists residents with activities of daily living, which may include after meal cleaning, transporting, preparation for outings, etc. Plans and implements therapeutic exercise programs, in collaboration with rehab team.…
