Purpose: The Senior eCommerce Engineer designs, builds, and owns complex full-stack features on flooranddecor.com, operating with a high degree of independence across the front-end, back-end, and platform layers of the eCommerce technology stack. This role is a key technical contributor who translates ambiguous requirements into scalable, well-architected solutions. The Senior eCommerce Engineer is expected to bring strong platform expertise (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, WebSphere Commerce), deep full-stack engineering judgment across React and Java, and fluency with modern development practices — including AI-assisted (“vibe coding”) development — to accelerate delivery without compromising code quality, security, or platform stability.…
