About this role

Gallo Mechanical is looking for a Sheet Metal Estimator to join our high performing Preconstruction team. As a Sheet Metal Estimator, you are responsible for managing all aspects of developing cost estimates for sheet metal and HVAC ductwork scopes, bidding projects, and other pre-construction related services. RESPONSIBILITIES: Reading mechanical drawings, specifications, and requests for proposals to understand the full sheet metal scope of work to bid, including supply, return, exhaust, and specialty duct systems. Performing detailed quantity takeoffs of sheet metal ductwork using Trimble Autobid Sheet Metal, FastDUCT, or equivalent estimating software. Creating detailed cost estimates and high-level scoping of sheet metal and ductwork projects to produce the estimate summary.…
