Public Works Inspector I Summary Responsible for serving as the City’s field representative and overseeing Public Works construction. Also responsible for providing quality assurance oversight on projects performed by the City and contractors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned . Serve as City representative responsible for inspecting public works construction projects managed by the water department. Inspect all aspects of projects including water and wastewater including inspection of water and wastewater pipe and appurtenances to ensure depth, material, sizes are constructed per plans, specifications, city standards and state and federal regulations.…
