About this role
Summary Responsible for advanced functions for the accounting operations of the City including, but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activity, account reconciliations, capital projects, fixed assets, month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and year-end audit preparation. Performs other related functions as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned . Reviews, researches, and analyzes general ledger activity. Assists with accounts payable and receivable. Prepares balance sheet and other account reconciliations. Researches technical accounting issues. Maintains and reconciles fixed asset records including additions, disposals, and transfers.…
