Medical Assistant Lead GBMA

Under direct supervision, assists physician/providers in care of patients in an office setting. Performs direct patient care such as phlebotomy, EKG, specimen collection, wound care, medication administration and vital signs. Maintains supplies, follows standing orders, assists with pre-visit planning and provides population management support. Serves as a quality and safety role model for medical office staff. Education HS, GED, OR Certificate of training from a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Program and National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant Experience 5 years of experience necessary to include completion of training and certification.…
