Job Description Summary The Global Commodity Specialist (GCS) will be responsible for developing and implementing the commercial strategy with suppliers of sourced electrical equipment, complementing GE inverters in Solar and Storage Power Conversion Stations (transformers, RMUs, switchgear, substation equipment). GCS will report directly to the Strategic Sourcing Leader and will work closely with the GCLs (Global Commodity Leader) and factory & project fulfillment teams. GCS will support supplier management to reduce costs, while continuing to meet delivery and quality requirements.
