ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Sr. Radiation Control Technician to join our team supporting the Los Alamos National Laboratory! This position is full-time and will be based out of Los Alamos, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Performs the full range of RCT support activities and serves as the primary point of contact for planning, coordination of resources, and ensuring resolution of conflicting demands in highly dynamic and challenging conditions that require ability as a strong tactical decision maker.
- Ensures that radiological controls are correctly applied for radiological work, including high-hazard radiological work, by serving as authorized subject matter expert for development of radiological work control packages (RWCPs).…
