Job Description Summary Generator winders for GE and Alstom Generator repairs and rewinding. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: Rewinding, Overhaul and refurbishment of Generators and equipment on-site and within Workshops in accordance with approved work instructions. Generator experience to include but not limited to dismantling, rewinding, brazing (induction/torch/resistance), insulating, bracing, re-wedging, working with epoxies, retaining ring removal & refitting. Operating Mobile Equipment, Tools & Machinery efficiently and accurately Maintenance of work areas, tooling and equipment. Performance of work in a safe manner in accordance with laws and GE policy. To be flexible within the bounds of their appropriate skill level about tasks that are required to be performed.…
