Job Summary Job Summary The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging under the direction of a radiologist, producing quality images for interpretation. Examinations include abdominal, vascular, nonpregnant pelvic, and small parts studies. This role provides patient care essential to ultrasound imaging, recognizes conditions requiring immediate action, initiates life support measures, and supports timely patient flow and study completion.
