Job Summary The Unit Clerk assists the nursing and medical staff by performing a variety of service activities and clerical tasks that ensures the efficiency of the patient care unit. Provides services to nurses, physicians, healthcare workers, patients, families, and visitors. Gathers, processes admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients, organizes the unit, maintains unit supplies and equipment, maintains a safe environment, communicates effectively, and utilizes technology.
