About this role

Reads and interprets work instructions and blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances. Interprets and uses Geometric Tolerances. Measures, inspects, tests and verifies machined, welded and finished parts for conformance to specifications. Completes receiving inspection of components. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supports first piece, in-process, and final inspections. Completes receiving inspection on purchased components, supplier processed components, etc. Reads blueprints or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances. Verifies specified dimensions using measuring equipment such as, but not limited to: verniers, calipers, micrometers, and height stands. Rejects defective parts and marks type of defect on part, container, and inspection tag.…
