About this role
The Opportunity Great Oaks Legacy Charter School is seeking dependable, student-centered AmeriCorps members to serve as Elementary AmeriCorps Tutors. Members work alongside teachers to provide consistent literacy and mathematics support for elementary students and help every student experience school as a place where they belong and can succeed. What You Will Do Support assigned students during ELA, math intervention, WIN, Strong Roots, and Response to Intervention (RTI) programs, including Power Up and Saturday Academy. Reinforce teacher-led lessons through prompts, feedback, encouragement, and targeted one-to-one or small-group support. Lead teacher-prepared math centers, fluency routines, or conferences and conduct planned reading-fluency conferences using approved materials.…
