Job Description: I. Position Summary: The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing and issuing food supplies and products for the Food Services Department. Responsible for inspecting all containers and covers to ensure that they are in good condition. The Storekeeper will work close with the Receiving Supervisor to ensure that the Storeroom is maintained in a clean and orderly fashion. Deliver MOW daily. II. Position Responsibilities: • On a daily basis, receive and store food supplies/products according to established procedures or as directed. Always practice FIFO when storing all foods. • When receiving food, inspect all containers, covers, crates, cans, etc., to determine that they are in good condition as received.
