About this role
Work Shift: Day - 8 Hour (United States of America)Schedules appointments for Houston Surgical Associates. Completes initial patient contact for scheduling procedures and surgical intervention. Works closely with the physicians of Houston Surgical Associates to verify information-all CPT codes and Diagnosis codes assigned by physicians. Initiates and tracks all insurance pre-authorization/certification. Assigns appropriate admission status post procedure. Completes all forms necessary to schedule surgery. Communicates closely with HHC OR and HASC to coordinate surgical intervention. Schedules post operative care and follow up visits. Scans all surgical documents and surgical consents to patient’s charts and faxes information via EMR to OR staffing.…
