Salary Range: $14.00 - $50.00 DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS OF WORK Under general supervision cleans an assigned group of buildings or office space; prepares rooms for meetings or conferences and accomplishes minor building repairs. ESSENTIAL EXAMPLES OF DUTIES The following illustrates examples of some of the essential duties and responsibilities of the Janitor PT. There may be other essential functions, not listed below, in order to accomplish the tasks as presented by the Supervisor. • Sweeps, mops, and scrubs, floors. • Cleans rest rooms, parking lots, and surrounding grounds. • Empties and cleans waste receptacles. • Cleans sand urns and sinks. • Washes windows and walls. • Polishes metal work. • Replenishes supplies. • Replaces soap, paper towels, light bulbs, etc.…
