JOB DESCRIPTION: The Computer-Aided Design Specialist shall support the Air Force SEEK EAGLE Office (AFSEO) Modeling, Analysis, and Tools Support (SEMATS) contract.
Essential Job Functions:
- Create, modify, and maintain 3-D models of aircraft, aircraft suspension equipment, aircraft stores, and various tooling and fixtures used in the aircraft-store certification process.
- Utilize Siemens NX software to create and modify 3-D structured surface and volume images.
- Translate various types of CAD files into NX format.
- Use reverse engineering techniques to take 3-D scan data and reproduce items using NX software to produce solid models for various engineering customers. Scan items on site to capture the shape of objects of interest.…
